TransLink is proud to launch the new R6 RapidBus in partnership with the City of Surrey and the City of Delta.
-
The R6 will bring faster, more frequent, and more reliable service to the Scott Road corridor.
-
The R6 RapidBus connects Scott Road Station with Newton Exchange with high-frequency, limited-stop bus service that runs every 7.5 to 15 minutes from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. on weekdays and from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. on weekends.
-
R6 RapidBus customers will enjoy a service that is up to 20 per cent faster than local bus service, ensuring shorter travel times for customers.
Starting January 1, TransLink is adjusting bus service levels around the region to respond to changing customer demand.
-
Service is being increased on seven routes across the region to reduce overcrowding and to better serve our customers.
-
Service adjustments are being made on five routes to provide more service during periods of high demand and to reduce overcrowding.
We will continue monitoring ridership levels across the region to ensure service is provided where it is needed most as more and more people choose transit.
