Transit Service Changes

We implement service changes every January, April, June, and September to ensure service is provided where it’s needed most based on seasonal patterns and recent trends. We also perform service changes on civic holidays and for major events.

    Holiday Service

    Transit services during the holiday season will run according to their normal schedules and fares except as noted below. To make sure you get where you need to go, plan your trip with our Trip Planner or call Customer Information at 604.953.3333.

    Remember: on Saturday/Sunday/holiday schedules you only need a 1-Zone fare to travel across all zones on all modes!

    • Bus services will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

    • SkyTrain (Expo, Millennium, and Canada Lines) services will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

    • SeaBus will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

    • West Coast Express will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

      • WCE will operate earlier eastbound service on Dec. 24: Trains will depart Waterfront Station at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 4:20 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:20 p.m., there are no changes to morning service.

    • The TransLink Customer Service Centre, Access Transit Customer Care Office and Lost Property Office will be open.

    • Bus services will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule.

    • SkyTrain Expo and Millennium Line services will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule with reduced service throughout the day. Canada Line service will operate on a regular Sunday schedule.

    • SeaBus will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule.

    • West Coast Express will not operate.

    • The TransLink Customer Service Centre, Access Transit Customer Care Office and Lost Property Office will be closed.

    • Bus services will operate on a Saturday schedule.

    • SkyTrain Expo Line, Millennium Line, and Canada Line services will operate on a Saturday schedule.

    • SeaBus services will operate on a Saturday schedule.

    • West Coast Express will not operate.

    • The TransLink Customer Service Centre, Access Transit Customer Care Office and Lost Property Office will be closed.

    • Bus services will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Dec. 27 and Dec. 30, Saturday schedule on Dec. 28, and Sunday/holiday schedule on Dec.29.

    • SkyTrain (Expo, Millennium, and Canada Lines) services will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Dec. 27 and Dec. 30, Saturday schedule on Dec. 28, and Sunday/holiday schedule on Dec.29.

    • SeaBus services will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Dec. 27 and Dec. 30, Saturday schedule on Dec. 28, and Sunday/holiday schedule on Dec.29.

    • West Coast Express services will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Dec. 27 and Dec. 30, and will not operate on Dec. 28 and Dec. 29.

    • The TransLink Customer Service Centre and Access Transit Customer Care Office will be open on Dec. 27 and Dec. 30, and will be closed on Dec. 28 and Dec. 29. Lost Property Office will be open on Dec. 27, Dec. 28, Dec. 30, and will be closed on Dec 29.

    The next statutory holiday is New Year's Day, which take place on Wednesday, Jan. 1. Check back closer to this date for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day Holiday Service details!
