Bike Bus returns with Summer Service Changes
Seasonal service increasing on 13 routes to popular outdoor destinations
NEW WESTMINSTER, BC – TransLink’s popular Bike Bus is back for summer service starting Friday, June 27 as part of upcoming service changes across the region.
Summer Service Changes take effect Monday, June 23, 2025, with more frequent service on 13 routes to outdoor destinations throughout Metro Vancouver, including:
- Route 23 - (English Bay/Main Street Station)
- Route 42 - (Spanish Banks/Alma)
- Route 19 - (Stanley Park/Metrotown Station)
- Route 150 - (White Pine Beach/Coquitlam Central Station)
- Route 262 - (Caulfeild/Lions Bay)
- Route 362 - (Seaside/White Rock Centre)
TransLink’s 900 Bike Bus service also returns for cyclists between Bridgeport Station and Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal. These retrofitted buses have eight interior bicycle racks — bringing the total bike capacity aboard to 10 — and follow Route 620. The 900 Bike Bus will operate with the following schedule:
- Service Dates: June 27 to September 1 (Labour Day)
- Operating Days: Fridays, weekends, and holidays
- Hours: 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Frequency: Hourly to align with BC Ferries sailings
Other improvements include earlier weekday RapidBus service on two of the region’s busiest bus routes:

Earlier weekday trips towards Guildford at 4:26, 4:39, and 4:52 a.m.

R6 Scott Road

Earlier weekday trip towards Scott Road Station at 4:30 a.m.
Additionally, on Friday and Saturday nights through September 27, SeaBus sailings are running every 15 minutes until 11:15 p.m. — two hours longer than usual.
