Neither TransLink nor its operating subsidiaries are responsible for theft, loss, removal, or damage to any items stored in the Bike Parkade.
Starting Jan. 26, 2023, we’re removing forgotten and abandoned bikes from Bike Parkades to maintain accessible and easy-to-use facilities for active cyclists.
Bike Parkades are meant for day-use only, not long-term storage. We ask Bike Parkade users to help fellow cyclists who need day-use Bike Parkades to seamlessly transfer between cycling and transit.
To alert bike owners, TransLink staff will attach a tag on bikes and other items two weeks before they’re removed. Bike owners who discover a tag on their bike are encouraged to simply dispose of their tag and continue using day-use Bike Parkades as they normally would.
Removed bikes will be donated to the PEDAL Society to find a new home unless reported as stolen, in which case the Transit Police will contact the owner to arrange a pick-up.
Moving forward, clean outs will occur biannually and follow the same procedure.
Assigned lockers are perfect for commuters looking for a safe place to park their bike during the day.
Note: Bike locker renewal payments can be made at the TransLink Customer Service Centre at Waterfront Station by cash, debit, or credit card, by mailing a cheque to the TransLink Customer Service Centre, or online by PayPal using the link in the renewal email. Please email bikelockers@translink.ca if you need the link resent to you, if you require more information, or for current availability of bike lockers.
