Access the TransLink Employee Portal: myCMBC

To access the Online Orientation Program, you'll need to visit myCMBC, CMBC's Employee Portal. To gain access to myCMBC, you'll need to register as a new employee by filling out the Employee Registration Form. CMBC is required to gather certain information from all employees for the purpose of enrolling you into the Benefit Plan, and to ensure Payroll has the required information to prepare your paycheque.

The steps below provide information on what you need to do once you click the "Let's Begin" button at the bottom of this page.

Step 1: Create an Employee USER ID and Password

To gain access to the CMBC Employee Portal (called myCMBC), you'll need to create a User ID and password.

You'll first need to create your password by entering the following information into the Employee Access Form:

  • Employee ID (provided by your Employment Services Advisor)

  • year of birth (please leave this as the default: 2003)

  • your postal code

  • your email address

Then, choose a password that meets the guidelines provided and click "Register".

Once you register you'll automatically be assigned a USER ID and redirected to the myCMBC login page. You'll need your USER ID and password to access myCMBC, so make sure you write them down!

Step 2: Login

Login to myCMBC by entering your USER ID and password.

Step 3: Complete the New Employee Registration Form

Once logged in, you'll automatically be redirected to the homepage of myCMBC.

Click on the "New Employee Registration" banner on the right-hand side of your screen and complete the online registration form.

*Important: You only have one hour to complete your New Employee Registration Form. If you can't complete your form once logged in, and need to leave myCMBC altogether, you can resume your session by following these steps:

  • Return to myCMBC by going to: http://mycmbc.ca

  • Log on to myCMBC (using your USER ID and password – see Step 1, above)

  • Go to the New Employee Registration Form by following the instructions in Step 3 (above)

  • Complete your registration and continue with your orientation (see Step 4, below)

Step 4: Begin your Online Orientation

Once you've successfully completed and submitted your New Employee Registration Form, please proceed to the CMBC Orientation. Through this online orientation, you'll find valuable information to assist you in your transition into your new role at Coast Mountain Bus Company. It's your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the information, in particular the "Corporate Policies" listed in section 4 of the orientation material.
