TransLink has partnered with Transit app, a leading mobile app available on the iOS App Store and Google Play, to deliver better real-time information, service alerts, and trip planning for Metro Vancouver transit users.
Through Transit app, customers can plan their journeys with advanced tools, view precise real‑time route information, receive tailored service alerts, and provide instant feedback.
Metro Vancouver transit riders automatically receive a free upgrade to Transit Royale, the premium subscription in the Transit app, courtesy of TransLink.

With Royale, riders unlock full access to the app and all the newest features, including the following:
App Customization: Special app themes and icons, inspired by transit systems around the world. You’ll have access to special app themes available to all Royale subscribers.
Personalize your GO leaderboard avatar: Royale subscribers can choose their own avatar emoji and remix the perfect nickname to match. Use your avatar to compete against other riders on your line. When you use Transit’s GO crowdsourcing feature, you win points based on how many people you’ve helped. Help the most riders for the ultimate bragging rights: being crowned #1 on your transit line!
Early access to new features. Royale subscribers are the first to see Transit’s new inventions. The latest: whenever you use an underground rail service to get around, the Transit app uses motion detection to keep track of your location without GPS.
