Supplier Forum

TransLink’s Strategic Sourcing & Contract Management Department will be hosting our 3rd Supplier Forum this upcoming September. This forum is aimed at placing a greater emphasis on transparency, communication and fostering stronger relationships with the supplier community. The majority of attendees will be business leaders and managers from TransLink and its operating entities. Representatives from other public sector organizations in the lower mainland are also being invited to attend.

  • Cost: $500.00 + GST
  • Forum Format: Tabletop tradeshow style

Registration: To register, please use the form below. Once submitted, TransLink will confirm your reservation in the coming weeks and include instructions to arrange payment. Note the following payment methods:

  • Suppliers may use Plastiq to make payment via credit card. Use of Plastiq will be governed by the Plastiq terms and conditions, including a transaction fee of 2.5%.
  • Alternatively, TransLink will also accept payment by cheque submitted to the following address:

To: South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority ("TransLink")

Re: TransLink’s Supplier Forum (the “Forum”), to be held on September 19, 2019 at the Anvil Centre, 777 Columbia Street, New Westminster, BC, V3M 1B6 (the “Venue”).

The undersigned acknowledges that space has been allocated at the Venue for the undersigned’s activities at the Forum, including, among other things, displaying product samples, handing out promotional materials, answering questions regarding products and services.

By participating in the Forum, the undersigned agrees that:

  1. the undersigned will be responsible for the set-up and take-down of its activities;
  2. the value of any “giveaway” provided by the undersigned to attendees at the Forum will be limited to $50.
  3. the undersigned will comply with all provincial and municipal laws, bylaws, regulations and ordinances, including acquiring any necessary permits or licenses as required, and will comply with all instructions and directives from TransLink and its subsidiaries or any of their officers, directors, employees, contractors, or agents (the “TransLink Entity”);
  4. for the duration of the Forum, the undersigned will have the necessary types of insurance, including without limitation coverage for bodily injury, death and property, in amounts commensurate with the undersigned’s activities, and will, at TransLink’s request, provide certificates of insurance or other proof of insurance coverage; and
  5. the undersigned will indemnify the TransLink Entity for any loss, injury or damage, including relating to any bodily injury or death or damage to or loss of property related to or arising from, whether directly or indirectly, the undersigned’s participation or involvement in the Forum, unless caused by the negligence of any of the TransLink Entity; and furthermore, the undersigned releases the TransLink Entity and waives any rights, including rights of subrogation, the undersigned may have against the TransLink Entity for compensation for any loss or damage occasioned by the undersigned.
