Transit Service Changes
Four times a year (April, June, September and December), TransLink performs a round of service changes to optimize service and increase efficiencies.
All the changes listed below take effect on April 15, 2013 except where noted otherwise. Some changes are seasonal while others are temporary due to construction.

4 UBC/Downtown

Due to preparation for Powell Street construction, downtown trips will operate between UBC and Waterfront Station only until summer 2014 as follows:
- Customers travelling further east from Waterfront Station need to transfer from 4 Downtown to 4 Powell Shuttle at the stop located on the south side of Cordova Street at Seymour Street.
- Customers travelling further west from Waterfront Station need to transfer from the 4 Downtown Shuttle to the 4 UBC at the stop located on the south side of Cordova Street at Seymour Street.
Shuttle service will operate approximately every 15 minutes and a little less frequent in the evening.

4 Powell/Downtown

Due to preparation for Powell Street construction, a shuttle will operate between Waterfront Station and Renfrew Street terminus (Renfrew Street at Eton Street) only until summer 2014 as follows:
- Customers travelling further east from Waterfront Station, need to transfer from 4 Downtown to 4 Powell Shuttle at the stop located on the south side of Cordova Street at Seymour Street.
- Customers travelling further west from Waterfront Station need to transfer from the 4 Downtown Shuttle to the 4 UBC at the stop located on the south side of Cordova Street at Seymour Street.
Shuttle service will operate approximately every 15 minutes and a little less frequently in the evening.

9 Alma/Granville/Commercial/Broadway Stn/Boundary

Monday-Friday: morning and afternoon peak periods between Alma Street and UBC will be temporarily discontinued until September.
Customers can use the 99 B-Line service for travel to and from UBC.

Due to construction, 10 Downtown/Granville service between Marpole Loop and Marine Drive Station will be discontinued.
Customers need to board the 100 22nd Street Station/Marpole Loop for service between the loop and station.

- Buses will operate 10 minute service between 6-9 a.m.
- Morning peak period trips leaving King Edward Av./Granville St. at 7:19, 7:27 and 7:35 a.m. (destined for BCIT) will be discontinued until September 2013.

Customers travelling between Phibbs Exchange and Capilano University can use the 239 Capilano University/Park Royal.

Monday-Friday: Buses will operate every 10 minutes between 6-9 a.m., and every 15 minutes between 3-6 p.m.

Customers are encouraged to use the frequent 130 Metrotown/Hastings/Kootenay/Phibbs Exchange route from Metrotown or Brentwood SkyTrain Stations for travel to and from BCIT.

The last trip will now leave SFU at 7:37 p.m.

Saturdays, Sundays and holidays: Bus service to White Pine Beach will operate May 4, 2013 until Labour Day (September 2, 2013).

Monday - Friday:
- Morning peak period buses will operate every 10 minutes.
- Midday and afternoon peak period buses will operate approximately every 15-30 minutes.
- Early evening buses will run every 30 minutes, with the last trip leaving UBC Loop at 7:40 p.m. and the last trip leaving Bridgeport Station at 6:55 p.m.

C26 Buntzen Lake/Coquitlam Station (Special)

Beginning June 15, 2013 until Labour Day (September 2, 2013), service will resume to Buntzen Lake with trips operating on weekends and holidays.

Due to construction, the bus bays have been temporarily relocated and the number of bays have been reduced from 8 to 5 until summer 2013.

Sunday and holidays: beginning May 19, 2013 until Labour Day (September 2, 2013), SeaBus service will increase to 15 minutes between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
