Joyce–Collingwood Station Upgrades

Rending of Joyce–Collingwood Station Upgrade

As of June 2019, the upgrades at Joyce–Collingwood Station are now complete!

As part of the TransLink Maintenance and Repair Program, we have upgraded the station to improve the safety and comfort of our customers, and to prepare for future service expansion. Joyce–Collingwood Station serves a high-density, mixed-use neighbourhood and is an important bus transfer location. As the number of passengers using the station grows, the station needed upgrades to increase passenger capacity and improve accessibility.

The first phase of construction began in early 2016 with a new east stationhouse being completed in October 2017. Phase two construction to upgrade the west stationhouse began in early 2018 and was completed in spring 2019.

These station upgrades are funded by TransLink and the federal and provincial governments; the first phase was funded through the Building Canada Fund and the second phase is funded through the Public Transit Infrastructure Fund.
