Joyce–Collingwood Station Upgrades

Rending of Joyce–Collingwood Station Upgrade

As part of the TransLink Maintenance and Repair Program, we are upgrading Joyce–Collingwood Station to improve safety and comfort for our customers, and to prepare for future service expansion.

Joyce–Collingwood Station serves a high-density, mixed-use neighbourhood and is an important bus transfer location. As the number of passengers using the station grows, the station needs upgrades that increase passenger capacity and improve accessibility.

The first phase of construction began in early 2016, and the east stationhouse was completed in October 2017. Phase two construction began in early 2018 and is ongoing until spring 2019.

These station upgrades are funded by TransLink and the federal and provincial governments; the first phase was funded through the Building Canada Fund and the second phase is funded through the Public Transit Infrastructure Fund.
