Canada Line Escalator Enhancement Project

As part of TransLink's Maintenance and Repair Program, we're adding new escalators to Yaletown–Roundhouse Station, Vancouver City Centre Station, and Waterfront Station to get ready for expanded service on the Canada Line and address growing customer demand.

This critical investment into the system will enhance the customer experience well into the future.

Passengers on our transit system deserve the best customer experience possible. This means a seamless transition between modes and reliable escalator service to move through our stations.

This is another example of the investments we're making across the system to improve the customer experience.

Construction will begin in January 2019 at the Yaletown-Roundhouse Station followed by Vancouver City Centre and Waterfront.

We encourage customers to visit our Alerts page for information on service impacts.
