Guildford Exchange

Rendering of upgraded Guildford Exchange

As of November 2019, the upgrades at Guildford Exchange are complete!

As part of the TransLink Maintenance and Repair Program, Guildford Exchange is being upgraded to improve customer safety and comfort, and to help meet the needs of our growing region. Surrey is expected to grow by 70 per cent over the next 30 years. Guildford, as one of Surrey's fastest growing neighbourhoods, will house much of that growth.

Guildford Exchange is home of the 96 B-Line and is one of the busiest bus exchanges south of the Fraser. It hosts more than 350 buses and serves thousands of customers every day. The new layover will allow for more buses to serve the area.

Completed upgrades include:

  • An approximately 3-metre high acoustic barrier wall north of the layover to help mitigate any potential light or noise impacts from the new layover on neighbours.
  • Enhanced lighting will be installed to the underside of the overhead mall walkway that crosses 104th Avenue.
  • Upgrades to 105th Avenue include improved landscaping, new bike lanes, new street lighting and bus stops, and road widening to accommodate increased bus traffic
