Main Street–Science World Station Upgrades

Main Street–Science World Station is the oldest station on TransLink's rapid transit system. Located beside Science World and built in 1982 as a demonstration station for Expo '86, it’s now one of the busiest stations on the system. The station was recognized as a priority for upgrades as it was in need of important accessibility upgrades.

Construction at Main Street–Science World is now complete. These station upgrades were funded by TransLink and the federal and provincial governments. For background information about the upgrades that took place at this station, visit our Expo Line Upgrade Strategy page.
