Charitable Donation Program

Our Charitable Donations Policy focuses on supporting safe, healthy, and complete communities.

Access to transit is an often insurmountable barrier for low-income and vulnerable members of the community. We will invest in initiatives that help overcome barriers to transportation which allow access to community programs and services.

Our program includes the following for donation:

  • Compass products (maximum $2,500 at TransLink's discretion)
  • Retired fleet vehicles
  • Retired office equipment

Our program excludes:

  • Cash donations
  • In-kind advertising (e.g., ad cards, bus and train wraps, and digital media)
  • Event sponsorship

Entities eligible for support under the Program include registered not-for-profit organizations, charitable organizations, and government agencies operating in the Metro Vancouver region.

Make a request

Requests for donations are reviewed quarterly and issued four times a year (effective 2020):

  • February 1

Evaluations will take one month after deadline date to review and any submissions after the deadline date will automatically be reviewed in the following review cycle.
