On Labour Day Monday September 6th, TransLink bus, SeaBus and SkyTrain services all operate on a Holiday schedule, same as Sundays. West Coast Express operates no trains or TrainBuses.

As on Sundays, the whole transit system is a single zone on Labour Day. Zone fares are not in effect.

The 33333 Next Bus SMS text service is currently experiencing sporadic outages.  Next Bus information may be obtained from m.translink.ca or by calling our automated phone system at 604-953-3333.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

Effective Saturday, August 21st until Monday, September 6th from 6:00am until 12:00am

To facilitate loading during the PNE, all westbound local services will depart Kootenay Loop 2 minutes ahead of their scheduled leave time from 3:00pm until 12:00am.

Effective Wednesday, August 25th until Friday, September 17th

Due to construction on 114th Av and 124th St the following reroute will apply.

C71 Surrey Central: Regular route to 124 St and 113B Av then via 113B Av / 125A St / 114 Av to regular route.

C71 Scott Road Stn: Regular route to 114 Av and 125A St then via 125A St / 113B Av / 124 St to regular route.

The C3 C4 services are back to regular route. The Community shuttles will stop at stop #61419 (Renaissance Sq) in both directions.

Stops 52334 (Rialto Ct) and 60876 (Royal Ave) will remain cancelled.

Effective Monday August 16th until Thursday September 30th.

Due to construction on 72 Av between Vantage Way & Progress Way the following reroutes will apply for the Monday to Friday Industrial Trips only.

640 Scott Rd: Regular route to 72 Av & Vantage Way then via: Vantage Way then regular route.

640 Ladner Exchange: Regular route to Vantage Way & 76 Av then continue on Vantage Way, then via: 72 Av then regular route.

25 Brentwood: From Nanaimo Station regular route to 24 Av & Nanaimo then via: Nanaimo/ Kingsway/ Slocan/ 22 Av then regular route.

25 UBC: Route to 22 Av & Slocan then via: Slocan/ Kingsway/ Nanaimo to Nanaimo Station then regular route.

TransLink has been informed that the Robson Square Mound Remediation Project, which is due to begin May 3 and require the closure of close Robson Street between Howe and Hornby, will take longer than expected.

Because of this, the re-route of the #5 Robson/Downtown and N6 NightBus will stay in effect until December 2010 (exact date to be confirmed). Trolley buses will continue to run on these routes.

5 Robson/Downtown: eastbound on Robson as far as Thurlow, then right on Thurlow, left on the Barclay/Smithe Diversion, left on Burrard, right on Pender to Homer, then a loop around Homer, Hastings and Richards to Pender, then returning along Pender to Burrard and back up to Robson and the regular route.

N6 NightBus: same as the 5 route to Homer and Hastings, then on Hastings to Richards and Pender, then back along Pender to Howe Street and back to Davie.

Effective Friday April 30th, until October, sections of the Granville Mall will be closed between 9pm and 5am Friday, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and evenings before statutory holidays.

The #50 Waterfront Station/False Creek South will be rerouted off of the Granville Mall during these times. Northbound trips will be relocated from the Granville Mall to Seymour Street, while the southbound trips will use Howe Street.

This change is being introduced by the City of Vancouver, to provide more room for pedestrians. During all other time periods the #50 will remain on the regular route.

Effective Friday September 3rd from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
The elevator from the Commercial ticket hall to the overhead walkway to platforms 3 & 4 will be out of service due to scheduled maintenance.

Passengers requiring assistance are to pick up the red emergency phone located at street level or obtain assistance from a SkyTrain Attendant.

Effective Thursday September 2nd from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
The elevator from the concourse level to platforms 1 & 2 will be out of service due to scheduled maintenance.

Passengers requiring assistance are to pick up the red emergency phone located at street level or obtain assistance from a SkyTrain Attendant.

Until Friday September 3rd, at 5:30pm, the Brentwood Station elevator from the concourse level to the Columbia bound platform level will be out of service due to repairs. Passengers wishing to travel towards Lougheed Town Centre station must travel westbound to Gilmore station and return on an eastbound train. Passengers wishing to disembark at Brentwood station are to continue to Holdom station and take the westbound train back to Brentwood station.

Effective Tuesday, August 31st from 9:00am until 3:00pm

The elevator from Burrard Street to the platform level will be out of service due to scheduled maintenance.

Passengers wishing to board SkyTrain from Burrard Street, please obtain assistance from a SkyTrain Attendant.

Passengers traveling westbound are to continue to Waterfront Station and pick up the red emergency phone for assistance.

Passengers traveling eastbound are to continue to Granville Station and pick up the red emergency phone for assistance.

Joyce Station: Elevator will be Out of Service due to scheduled maintenance. Tuesday, August 31st from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

The elevator from Joyce Street entrance or Vanness Avenue entrance to the platform level.

Passengers wishing to board SkyTrain at Joyce station, please obtain assistance from a SkyTrain Attendant or pick up the red emergency phone.

Passengers traveling westbound are to continue to 29th Avenue station and pick up the red emergency phone located at platform level for assistance.

Effective Wednesday, May 5th, from 5:00 pm until further notice

The elevator from McNeely Street entrance to concourse level will be out of service due to construction (you can still access the eastbound elevator from concourse to platform level).

Customers wishing to board the eastbound SkyTrain must use the westbound street level elevator to concourse level, cross over at the concourse level to the eastbound elevator.

The Scott Road Station elevator is not accessible between the station and the bus loop. Passengers with disabilities who cannot use the escalator/stairs may travel between the bus loop and the elevator, taking the following action. When arriving at the station, accessible customers wishing to transfer to the SkyTrain or to the bus loop are required to call HandyDART, 604-575-6600, Mon-Fri (7:00am-11:00pm) Sat/Sun (9:00am-9:00pm). It is recommended that accessible customers book transport from the bus loop to the elevator at the station or from elevator to the bus loop in advance using the phone number above. (Customer is responsible for cost if they pre book.) Customers are asked to wait for the HandyDart vehicle in the area located at the bus loop and the Park & Ride lot on the north side of the station. The service is free for all accessible patrons, not just for those registered with HandyDart.
