TransLink iPhone Application
Developed by Handi Mobility, TransLink’s iPhone App provides users with:
- customized transit information, including schedules and service alerts
- “location-awareness”, which uses GPS to locate nearby bus stops
- full text search by street name or intersection for nearby bus stops
- the ability to store favorite stops
- integration with Google Maps
- access to the Buzzer blog
- the ability to provide feedback to TransLink directly from their mobile device
The TransLink iPhone application is a FREE download from the Apple iPhone App Store . Search for it using “TransLink” as your keyword.
Next Bus SMS
Text the 5-digit bus stop number (the yellow number at the top of every bus stop in Metro Vancouver) to 33333, and our Next Bus SMS service will tell you, within seconds, when the next 6 scheduled buses are due to arrive at your stop.
Next Bus is free, but standard carrier charges may apply.
Google Transit
Metro Vancouver was the first Canadian city to partner with Google Transit!
Download Google Maps to your mobile device and you can use Google Transit to get route and transit information, phone numbers for local business and even figure out where you are, with or without GPS.
