Using satellite tracking on buses, mobile Next Bus gives you real-time transit information by estimating when the next vehicle will depart, based on its last reported location. Use Next Bus to find out when the next bus is coming, look up bus routes and bus stops, see bus route paths or find the closest stop to your current location. Mark routes or stops as favourites for fast access next time you're heading out the door.
You can also plan your trip on our mobile Trip Planner, then save your origin and destination pairs for easy lookup next time you need them.
Our mobile site also offers schedule, fare and rider information, plus transit alerts, contact info and access to our Buzzer blog posts while you’re on the go.

Next Bus SMS
Our Next Bus text-messaging service (SMS) has gone real-time!
Text the 5-digit bus stop number (the yellow number at the top of every bus stop) to 33333, and our Next Bus SMS service will tell you, within seconds, when the next six buses are predicted to arrive at your stop. The predicted departure times are based on the GPS location of the buses and update at least every two minutes.
While most of the information will be in real-time, sometimes only scheduled times will be available. Scheduled departure times will be noted with an asterisk (*). When the information is available, we'll also indicate cancelled buses with a "C".
If there are multiple bus routes that service your stop, but you're only interested in receiving the next six predicted departure times for one of them, text the 5-digit stop number and the bus number to 33333. (example: 54440 240)
Need help? Text "HELP" to 33333.
Standard carrier text messaging charges may apply.
Check out this Next Bus video to learn more about using the SMS service! (Note: this video was created before the launch of Next Bus SMS Real-Time.)
Next Bus is also available off our website, and provides scheduled departure times as well as a "stop look-up tool" if you don't know your stop number.
