The Access Transit Secretariat helps TransLink offer a greater level of service to people with disabilities, seniors, new Canadians and youth. We started by listening to transit users and hearing what they needed, and continue to be guided in our work by our customers’ viewpoints and needs. The Access Transit Strategy, which involves an extensive review of transit accessibility, looks at every aspect of the transit system, and breaks down barriers as we find them.
TransLink’s Access Transit Secretariat works closely with the Users’ Advisory Committee, people with disabilities and other groups in the community.
