Langley Transit Exchanges

TransLink is currently developing plans for new transit exchange space in Langley. This will include one transit exchange in the Willowbrook neighbourhood and one in Downtown Langley. These new exchanges will address an existing need for exchange space as the existing Langley Centre Exchange is currently operating at capacity. They will also support the future transit service expansions outlined in the South of Fraser Area Transit Plan.

These two transit exchanges will facilitate improved transit connections for South of Fraser residents, particularly within the Langley Regional City Centre. They will also support transit oriented communities and will provide a safe and comfortable environment for passengers.

From November 27 to December 7, 2012, TransLink, the City of Langley and the Township of Langley held one stakeholder meeting and two public open houses to gather feedback about the design alternatives for the Langley transit exchanges. Public feedback regarding the design alternatives was also gathered online. In the winter of 2013, a final report will be posted to report on what we heard. Thanks to everyone who participated in the consultations - your input is important to us.
