A Safe Ride Home

Graduating from high school only comes once in a lifetime. During your Grad celebration, instead of getting behind the wheel, take transit and don’t worry about parking or partying.

As a Grade 12 student graduating from high school, you’re eligible for a free GradPass from TransLink. The pass entitles students residing in Metro Vancouver to two days' unlimited travel on Bus, SeaBus, SkyTrain, and West Coast Express. It’s valid for any two days you choose between May 15 and June 30, and the two days don’t have to be consecutive.

When you take transit, be sure to have your GoCard with you as it must be presented with your GradPass to ride for free. The passes are available at your school, either through your homeroom or the principal's office. Make sure to sign the back of your pass right away - you're the only person allowed to use it. Validate your pass before you board by scratching off the grey day and month panels.

Please note that GradPasses have no cash value and cannot be returned for a refund.
