2010 Winter Games Information
If you're interested in monthly passes, buy a 2010 Games Transit Pass as a 2010 Winter Games keepsake that offers unlimited bus, SeaBus and SkyTrain travel for the six weeks of the Games, from February 8 - March 21, 2010.
You can buy a Monthly Pass (FareCards) for one, two or three zone travel by bus, SeaBus, and SkyTrain services. Tickets for West Coast Express must be purchased separately as they are priced differently.
Concession Fares
Concession fares apply to children 5 to 13 years old, secondary students ages 14 to 19 with a valid GoCard, seniors 65+ with proof of age and HandyCard holders. These people can travel at a reduced price.
Children 4 years and younger ride for free when accompanied by an adult. CNIB and War Amputee pass holders also ride for free.
Unlimited Travel
Monthly Passes (FareCards) provide unlimited travel within the selected zone(s) on weekdays and across all zones on weekends, statutory holidays, and after 6:30 p.m. on weekday evenings.

AddFares
If you have bought a one-zone fare but need to travel through two or three zones, you can upgrade your ticket on the bus or at SkyTrain or SeaBus ticket vending machines with a proof of payment transfer.
Canada Line YVR AddFare Effective for Cash Fares Beginning January 18, 2010
The Canada Line YVR AddFare for rapid transit service from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) will be in effect starting Monday, January 18. The $5 AddFare will apply to anyone purchasing cash fare tickets at any of the Canada Line stations at the airport for travel from the airport to Richmond or Vancouver. Ticket vending machines at the Canada Line airport stations will automatically charge the correct amount.
People carrying any TransLink pass (DayPasses, Monthly FareCards or annual passes such as the U-Pass, Government Bus Pass or Employer Pass) or using pre-paid FareSaver tickets won't need to pay the AddFare.
Remember to keep your valid Canada Line YVR AddFare ticket for inspection purposes. Valid proof of payment is always required in any Fare Paid Zone.

AddFares for West Coast Express
You can use your Monthly Pass as a credit towards a West Coast Express ticket. Just buy an AddFare ticket at a West Coast Express ticket vending machine.
Take a Friend for Free!
On Sundays and Statutory Holidays you can use your FareCard to take five other riders with you for free! A total of six riders is allowed: Two adults (14 and older) and up to four children (13 and under) can ride on a single Adult FareCard, West Coast Express 28-day Pass, or Annual Employer Transit Pass. (Does not apply to Concession Passes.)
