How to Sign Up

We’ve designed the Employer Pass Program (EPP) to be as simple as possible for you. We explain below how to:

A) Enroll in the program

B) Enroll pass holders

C) Pay for the passes

D) Make a change

 

A) Here are the steps for enrolling your company:

  1. Read the FAQs.
  2. Assign a coordinator in your company to administer the Employer Pass Program. (see Coordinator’s Responsibilities in Terms and Conditions).
  3. Call TransLink to get on the list for program registration at (604) 453-4681.
  4. Check New Company Application Deadlines in the Schedule of Key Dates below to see when your company may enroll.
  5. Complete the Company Application Form and submit it to TransLink's TDM Department at the address listed below. Upon application approval, TransLink will forward the Employer Agreement to be signed by a CEO or senior officer in your company.

B) Enrolling Pass Holders

Once you’ve been accepted into the program, here are the steps for enrolling employees:

  1. Each interested employee must complete an Employee Enrollment Contract. A minimum of 25 employees is required. (Note that they must commit to a minimum of 12 months participation in the program.)
  2. Your company then forwards the Employee Enrollment Contract to TransLink.
  3. TransLink welcomes you to the program. A username and password will be provided to your company. Your company must attend a free two-hour training workshop on administration of the program.


C) Paying for the Passes

The payroll department arranges the payroll deductions. Your company coordinator will be able to print off a Remittance Report, each month, summarizing the names, number and types of passes in use by your employees. Any other applicable fees will also appear on this report (eg. enrollment, lost pass, early termination). You must pay the invoice by the 15th day of each month.

 

D) Changes to the Program
If there are any changes to the program from your office, an employee will need to fill out our Change Request Form. This could be a zone change required for a current pass holder, someone leaving the program or a temporary suspension.

 

Schedule of Key Dates

Here are the deadlines for applying in order to receive the transit passes by a certain month.

If you are a member of the EPP and are not the company coordinator, please check with your coordinator to ensure your request has met your company's internal deadlines, which may be in advance of TransLink's deadlines.
