Highway 91/91A

Highway 91 weaves through Delta, New Westminster and Richmond. It covers 22 km in two portions - the Annacis Highway, which runs north-south over the Alex Fraser Bridge, and the Richmond east-west Connector.

Built in 1986, Highway 91 is an alternative freeway route to Highway 99. It is owned by the BC Ministry of Transportation and maintained by Mainroad Contracting Limited. The Highway 91A interchange is being reconfigured at the north end of Queensborough Bridge , and construction on a new interchange at Hwy 91A (at Howes St.) began in mid-2008.
