Massey Tunnel

The George Massey Tunnel carries Highway 99 traffic under the south arm of the Fraser River, connecting Delta and Richmond to downtown Vancouver.  

Built in 1958, the Massey Tunnel is owned by the Ministry of Transportation and maintained by Mainroad Contracting Ltd.

Counter-flow schedule

From: 6 am – 9 am

• Three lanes northbound; one lane southbound  

From: 3:20 pm – 6 pm

• Three lanes southbound; one lane northbound

• Alex Fraser Bridge (proceed on Hwy 91, east)
