The 10-Year Transportation and Financial Plan

TransLink is the first transportation authority in North America to be responsible for planning, financing and managing public transit in addition to major roads, bridges and other transport modes in the region. Our integrated model lets us plan the transportation network as a strategic whole, and its helped Metro Vancouver become one of the most liveable regions in the world.

TransLink's 10-Year Transportation and Financial Plan, comprised of a three-year fully-funded plan and a seven-year outlook, responds to TransLink's legislated requirement to identify the investments needed to maintain, improve and enhance our transportation system over the next decade, while outlining how these investments will be funded.

From July 12 to September 23, 2011, we asked you to tell us what you think about our proposed transportation improvements and how they should be funded. Our "Moving Forward" 2012 Supplemental Plan and Outlook was approved by the Mayors' Council on Regional Transportation, on October 7, 2011. To learn about the transportation investments included in the plan, visit the Supplemental Plan page.
